The following message was sent to some of you, but not all. Sorry for
the confusion, but in this message is improved instructions for getting to
the location. It is suggested that you plan a little extra time for finding this
location because of the construction in the area.

John, everybody else: This is to announce that there will be a
tour/meeting at the Bugatti Restoration shop on the 21st Nov starting at
10:00 AM. If the weather is good then we might have a short meeting in the
parking lot beforehand along with a quick swap/sale/giveaway as well. If
the weather is bad then we should just run inside and start the tour.
Good weather = come early; Bad = get there at 10:00 and run inside! This
is where we are going:

This shop restores classic sports and race cars from the 20's through
the 70's. Of particular interest is that they are currently in the
process of machining a Type 57 cylinder block casting into a new
replacement. As these were made in one complete piece from head to
crankcase some of the processes are quite challenging. They do complete
restorations on these cars including chassis and running gear, driveline,
and bodywork. They were located in Boulder until about 10 years ago when
they moved to the present location:
601 1st street Berthoud CO. This is north of the main E-W street
through Berthoud (CO 15) and one block west of Highway 287 (Not the
Bypass!) going north out of Berthoud. Note that this intersection is
under reconstruction and is a total mess!
From I25 take the Berthoud exit and follow highway 8 west to the
intersection (mess) with 287 and one block further to the stop sign.
Turn north on 2nd street. and go 1 block to Turner Rd. Go 1 short block
east and turn south past the shop selling propane. The grey building is
High Mountain Classics! If you get lost then call the shop!
Coming from the west proceed through Berthoud from 287 on 56
through town to the stop sign one block before the intersection with 287 (mess).
Turn north on 2nd street and go north on block to Turner Rd. Turn east
and go one short block before turning south at the propane shop. South
to the grey building and park!
See you there! Bill in Boulder
*****Better instructions:*******

601 1st St.
